      Summary

Easily create API proxies and custom APIs backed by IBM Cloud Functions, Cloud Foundry apps, and App Connect flows. An API Gateway service enables you to securely share your APIs with other developers.

The API Gateway service can handle APIs located in resource groups. APIs located in Cloud Foundry spaces are handled by an automatically-provisioned Legacy API Gateway. Both gateway types are tightly integrated with common services like Log Analysis, Activity Tracker, App ID, Certificate Manager, and more.

      Features

      Create APIs

Create API proxies and custom APIs backed by IBM Cloud resources. View API gateway logs and short-term API performance and usage statistics during development.

      Secure APIs

Secure your APIs by requiring API key/secret and OAuth social login. Apply rate limits to protect your back end applications.

      Share APIs

Share OpenAPI documentation and API keys with other developers both within and outside of IBM Cloud. Brand your APIs by assigning them to custom domains.
