This remote service will streamline SAP HANA services into a single continuous "starter bundle" required to implement an SAP HANA HA + DR + Test environment. The purpose of this services activity is to help clients deploy SAP HANA on IBM Power based on targeted use cases. It utilizes an approach for best practice configuration and aligns to client requirements.

Advise the client on planning and identification of data center infrastructure, storage, networking and database requirements.
Implement SAP HANA instances using the latest SAP-supported Tailored Datacenter Integration (TDI) methodology.
Implement the best practice of IBM HMC, PowerVM virtual I/O servers, NPIV, and SEA/SR-IOV/vNIC adapters.
Implement the best practices for IBM Linux on Power with either SAP-supported release of SLES or RHEL.
Perform SAP HCMT test of filesystem performance and SAP HANA landscape for required SAP environment certification.
High Availability options
SAP HANA in a Pacemaker Cluster with SUSE or RedHat.
SAP HANA scale-out landscape with Host Auto Failover.
SAP ASCS/ERS in a Pacemaker Cluster with SUSE or RedHat.

Scope
Includes installation of Linux (RHEL or SLES), setup and testing of required filesystems, and implementation of up to 3 HANA instances.
HA options are 1 scale-up HA cluster or 1 scale-out host auto failover.
