• In the past, when a Virtual Server Instance (VSI) was provisioned without explicitly mentioning the --primary-network-interface (legacy interface), a primary_network_interface was created and the same details were available in the response. However, with the 10.0.0 and later releases, when a virtual server instance is provisioned without explicitly mentioning --primary-network-interface, a primary_network_attachment is created, along with a Virtual Network Interface (VNI) resource.
• To support compatibility with an eariler version, users need to explicitly define --primary-network-interface to create a legacy network interface. It is recommended to use primary_network_attachment over the legacy primary_network_interface.
