Deleting Zerto Cloud Connector
As of 28 March 2024, VMware Shared is not available for new deployments. Support for existing instances is extended until 28 February 2025. All customer and management data, including the backups of workloads, will be deleted in March 2025. Migrate all your VMware Shared resources to IBM Cloud® for VMware Cloud Foundation as a Service by 28 February 2025. For more information, see End of Support for VMware Shared deployments.
You can delete the Zerto Cloud Connector (ZCC) when it is no longer needed.
Before you begin
- Review the following considerations before you delete Zerto Cloud Connector:
- The on-premises site is unpaired from the IBM Cloud® site and all workloads that are moved from the on-premises site are deleted.
- All Virtual Protection Groups and the VMs replicated from the on-premises site to the IBM Cloud site are deleted.
- When you delete the ZCC, you unpair the on-premises workloads from IBM Cloud.
Procedure to delete Zerto Cloud Connector
- Under the Enabled services on the virtual data center details page, click Delete ZCC in the Zerto Cloud Connector details table.
- In the Delete Zerto Cloud Connector window, review, and accept the delete confirmation and click Delete. The status of the ZCC is changed to Deleting. When the ZCC is deleted successfully, the status is changed to Deleted.
