Getting help and support

If you have problems or questions when you use IBM Cloud Schematics, you can get help by joining the Schematics community in Slack, asking questions through a forum, or opening an IBM Cloud® support case.

  • Post a question in the IBM Cloud Schematics Slack. If you do not have access to this Slack, request an invitation to this Slack.
  • Post your question on Stack Overflow External link icon and tag your question with ibm-cloud-schematics.
  • Get help from the open source community by searching information on the internet or by asking questions in forums and on websites that support these tools.
  • You can also contact IBM Support by opening a case. To learn about opening an IBM support case, or about support levels and case severities, see Contacting support.

Joining public slack channel

Join the public slack channel, and post a question in the IBM Cloud Schematics users Slack, and engage with the Schematics team. If you do not have access to the Slack, request an invitation to the Slack.

Join the #schematics-users slack channel and post a message include the following information.

  • Your name
  • email address
  • Your Company/Organization name
  • Your level of experience with cloud automation, specifically regarding Terraform, Ansible, or IBM Cloud Schematics
  • Any initial questions or comments

You can come back any time to your created thread to add information, ask questions, or give feedback.

Steps to join public slack

Following steps allows you to join the Schematics agents beta public Slack channel.

  • Click IBM Cloud Schematics Slack.
  • Select Request to join Slack > Request Invite.
  • A support case page is opened.
  • Support Case Subject : Request invitation to public slack channel for Schematics agents beta.
  • Support Case Description: Invite my email address to the Schematics agents beta public Slack channel
  • Click Next.
  • Click Submit case. Wait for 10 - 15 minutes to get an access.
