Summary
A workspace is a free working environment that acts as a folder for Power Virtual Server resources at a specific geographic location (zone). Compute (e.g., images and VSIs), networking (e.g., subnets), and storage (e.g., volumes and snapshots) resources are deployed within a selected workspace and cannot be moved or shared between workspaces.
Workspaces are a means of grouping and managing related resources deployed in a single location (data location), but otherwise have no functional capabilities. For solutions that span multiple locations, e.g., to implement High Availability or Disaster Recovery, you can create multiple workspaces and connect them over the network (e.g., using a Transit Gateway).
