Quick start OpenSearch configuration (Private preview)

When you log in to the IBM® watsonx.data web console for the first time, you are presented with the quick start wizard. You can use the quick start wizard to configure OpenSearch and get started with watsonx.data.

The wizard guides you through the initial configuration process for the infrastructure components of watsonx.data.

To configure OpenSearch, complete the following steps:

1. In the Welcome page, select the Open search tile and click Next.

2. In the Service page, provide the following details:

   • Select the service. For example, OpenSearch.
   • Select the suitable size. For example, Starter which includes one coordinator node and one worker node.

3. Click Next. The OpenSearch service is configured and displayed in the Infrastructure Manager page.
