# Disabling or enabling ACL on an ACL-enabled storage

To disable ACL on ACL-enabled storage, complete the following steps:

1. In the topolgy view, hover over the ACL-enabled storage, and click the **Disable ACL** icon. A **Disable ACL** dialog appears.
1. Click **Disable ACL**.

If you want to enable ACL on ACL-enabled storage, complete the following steps:

1. In the topolgy view, hover over the ACL-enabled storage, and click the **Enable ACL** icon. An **Enable Access Control List (ACL)?** dialog appears.
1. Click **Enable**.
