Deleting a HPE Zerto Software license does not delete the HPE Zerto Software service that is installed on a VCF for Classic - Automated instance. To delete the service, you must do so in the IBM Cloud for VMware Solutions console.

For more information, see [Deleting services from VCF for Classic - Automated instances](https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/vmwaresolutions?topic=vmwaresolutions-vc_deletingservices&format=markdown).

To delete a HPE Zerto Software license:

1. In the VMware Solutions console, click **Licensing and metering > Add-on services** from the left navigation panel.
2. Scroll down to the **HPE Zerto Software licenses** table and select the license that you want to delete.
3. From the **Actions** menu, click **Delete license**.
4. In the **Notes** field, optionally enter a reason for license deletion.

The status of the license is changed to **Removing**. When the license deletion is complete, the license is no longer listed in the **HPE Zerto Software licenses** table and you receive an email that confirms the license deletion.
