# HPE Zerto Software

As of 17 July 2025, new automated installations of Red Hat® OpenShift® for VMware® are no longer available for new or existing deployments of VMware Cloud Foundation for Classic - Automated instances. You can still use or delete your existing Red Hat OpenShift for VMware automated installations until 16 July 2026. The service will no longer be available from 17 July 2026.

If you find that a vSphere® ESXi™ host can't enter maintenance mode during remediation, it might be that HPE Zerto Software is stopping it.

If you updated HPE Zerto Software after the initial deployment, complete the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Log in to the HPE Zerto Software web user interface.
2. Click **Site Settings** on the menu.
3. Click the **Policies** tab and ensure that **Allow Zerto to always enter hosts to maintenance mode during remediation** is selected.
4. Log out of HPE Zerto Software.
