# Getting help and support for VMware Solutions

As of 17 July 2025, new automated installations of Red Hat&reg; OpenShift&reg; for VMware® are no longer available for new or existing deployments of VMware Cloud Foundation for Classic - Automated instances. You can still use or delete your existing Red Hat OpenShift for VMware automated installations until 16 July 2026. The service will no longer be available from 17 July 2026.

If you experience an issue or have questions when using VMware Solutions, you can use the following resources before you open a support case.

* Ask a question in the [AI assistant](https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/overview?topic=overview-ask-ai-assistant&format=markdown) from the console.
* Review the [FAQ](https://cloud.ibm.com/docs?tab=faqs&tags=get-support%2Cbilling-usage%2Caccount%2Csell&faqtags=vmwaresolutions%2Cvmware-service) in the product documentation.
* Review the [troubleshooting documentation](https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/vmwaresolutions?topic=vmwaresolutions-trbl_timeout_vc_console&format=markdown) to troubleshoot and resolve common issues.
* Check the status of the IBM Cloud platform and resources by going to the [Status](https://cloud.ibm.com/status) page.

## Procedure to create a case for VMware Solutions
{: #trbl_support-procedure}

1. Go to the IBM Cloud [Support Center](https://cloud.ibm.com/unifiedsupport/supportcenter).
2. Log in with your **IBMid** account.
3. Select **All Products** and type **VMware Solutions** where prompted for the product name, then click **VMware Solutions**.
4. Review the various solutions offered. If you do not see an answer to your problem, click **Create a case** in the **Contact Support** section.
