# End of Support for NSX-V instance deployments

As of 17 July 2025, new automated installations of Red Hat® OpenShift® for VMware® are no longer available for new or existing deployments of VMware Cloud Foundation for Classic - Automated instances. You can still use or delete your existing Red Hat OpenShift for VMware automated installations until 16 July 2026. The service will no longer be available from 17 July 2026.

Broadcom® support for VMware NSX-V deployments ended on 16 January 2022. In addition, extended NSX-V support from IBM® (exclusive to IBM Cloud®) ended on January 2025.

If you are still running NSX-V, your existing instance is not supported and also noncompliant with VMware vCloud Usage Meter. You must [migrate from NSX–V to NSX–T](https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/vmwaresolutions?topic=vmwaresolutions-v2t-overview&format=markdown) as soon as possible.
