# Managing VMware licenses

1. Log in to the [IBM Cloud catalog](https://cloud.ibm.com/catalog/){: external}.
1. Go to **Devices > Manage > VMware® licenses**. Each VMware® add-on that is purchased displays the following information:

   * License key
   * CPUs
   * Order date

## Ordering VMware licenses
{: #ordering-vmware-licenses}

1. Log in to the [IBM Cloud catalog](https://cloud.ibm.com/catalog/){: external}.
1. Go to **Devices > Manage > VMware licenses** and click **Order VMware licenses**.
1. Select the appropriate licenses and click **Continue**.
1. Review charges and the MSA and click **Place order**.

## Removing VMware licenses
{: #removing-vmware-licenses}

1. Log in to the [IBM Cloud catalog](https://cloud.ibm.com/catalog/){: external}.
1. Go to **Devices > Manage > VMware licenses** and click **Remove license**. 
1. Click **Ok** to confirm.
