Deprecating your deployable architecture from the IBM Cloud catalog

Deprecating your deployable architecture from the IBM Cloud catalog

You can permanently delete your deployable architecture or its version from the IBM Cloud® catalog by deprecating them first. Your product remains available for use during a 90-day deprecation period, and is removed after 90 days.

Deprecating deployable architectures from the IBM Cloud catalog

To deprecate your entire product, complete the following steps:

  1. In the IBM Cloud console, click the Navigation Menu icon Navigation Menu icon > Partner Center > My products.
  2. Click the Actions icon Actions icon for the product that you want to deprecate, and select Deprecate.
  3. Explain why you want to deprecate the product. You can also provide some additional information, for example, a link to your deprecation announcement.
  4. Click Deprecate.

Deprecating a specific version of your deployable architecture

You can deprecate only a specific version of your deployable architecture if you don't want to deprecate your entire product. To deprecate only a specific version of your product, complete the following steps:

  1. In the IBM Cloud console, click the Navigation Menu icon Navigation Menu icon > Partner Center > My products.
  2. Select your product.
  3. Go to the Variation page and select a variation by clicking it. This step directs you to the Software tab.
  4. Click the Actions icon Actions icon for the version that you want to deprecate, and select Deprecate.
  5. Explain why you want to deprecate the version. You can also provide some additional information, for example, a link to your deprecation announcement.
  6. Click Deprecate.

If your deployable architecture has only one published version, and you deprecate that version, the entire product is deprecated.
