IBM MQ is an enterprise grade messaging middleware service that gives independent and potentially nonconcurrent applications secure messaging capabilities, such as point-to-point and publish/subscribe models.

IBM® MQ as a Service provides a way to use IBM MQ as a managed offering that can be integrated with an existing on-premises MQ network. IBM Cloud handles upgrades, patches, and many of the operational management tasks, so the focus is solely on its integration with applications.
