Pré-requisitos

Para usar o driver do Block Storage for VPC, conclua as seguintes tarefas:

Rotulando seus nós do trabalhador

Antes de poder implementar o driver do Block Storage for VPC, deve-se preparar os nós do trabalhador incluindo os rótulos necessários.

Antes de iniciar, efetue login na conta. If applicable, target the appropriate resource group. Configure o contexto para o seu cluster.

  1. Recupere os seguintes detalhes da instância de VPC. Esses parâmetros são usados para aplicar rótulos aos nós do trabalhador.

    • <instanceID> - O ID da instância da VPC. Para recuperar esse valor, execute ibmcloud is ins.
    • <node-name> - Os nomes dos nós do trabalhador. Para recuperar esse valor, execute kubectl get nodes.
    • <region-of-instanceID> e <zone-of-instanceID> - A região e a zona em que a instância da VPC está. Para recuperar esses valores, execute ibmcloud is in <instanceID>. Valor de região de exemplo: eu-de. Valor de zona de exemplo: eu-de-1.
  2. Copie o seguinte shell script e salve-o em sua máquina local em um arquivo chamado setup.sh

  3. Rotule os nós do trabalhador executando o shell script e especificando os parâmetros recuperados anteriormente. Repita essa etapa para cada nó do trabalhador em seu cluster.

Recuperando os detalhes do IAM e da VPC

Para criar o segredo do Kubernetes que é usado no configmap do Block Storage for VPC, deve-se recuperar os detalhes do IAM e da VPC.

  1. Recupere os seguintes valores de parâmetro de configuração. Esses valores são usados para criar o segredo do Kubernetes que é necessário para o Block Storage for VPC.

    • <g2_api_key> - A chave de API do IAM. É possível usar sua chave de API existente ou criar uma executando o comando ibmcloud iam api-key-create NAME.
    • <g2_riaas_endpoint> - O terminal regional da VPC do cluster de VPC no formato https://<region>.iaas.cloud.ibm.com. Exemplo: https://eu-de.iaas.cloud.ibm.com. Para obter mais informações, consulte Terminais de VPC.
    • <g2_resource_group_id> - Para recuperar esse valor, execute o comando ibmcloud is vpc <vpc-ID> e observe o campo Resource group.
  2. Salve em sua máquina local o seguinte arquivo de configuração TOML chamado config.toml. Certifique-se de que não haja linhas em branco entre os valores e nem no final do arquivo.

  3. Insira os valores recuperados anteriormente e codifique o arquivo TOML em base64. Salve a saída base64 para usar no configmap do driver do Block Storage.

Criando o segredo de extração de imagem em seu cluster

Crie um segredo de extração de imagem em seu cluster. O segredo criado é usado para extrair as imagens do driver do Block Storage for VPC.

  1. Revise e recupere os seguintes valores para o seu segredo de extração de imagem.

    • <docker-username> - Insira a sequência: iamapikey.
    • <docker-password> - Insira a chave de API do IAM. Para obter mais informações sobre chaves de API do IAM, consulte Entendendo as chaves de API.
    • <docker-email> - Insira a sequência: iamapikey.
  2. Execute o seguinte comando para criar o segredo de extração de imagem em seu cluster. Observe que o segredo deve ser chamado icr-io-secret.

Criando a implementação do driver do Block Storage for VPC

Selecione o configmap do driver do Block Storage for VPC que corresponde ao sistema operacional dos nós do trabalhador. Quando a implementação é criada em seu cluster, o driver do Block Storage for VPC e as classes de armazenamento são instalados.

  1. Salve em sua máquina local uma das seguintes configurações do YAML em um arquivo chamado configmap.yaml. Selecione o configmap com base no sistema operacional de seu cluster.

  2. Inclua os detalhes de configuração do TOML codificado criado anteriormente no configmap na seção de configuração do segredo slclient.toml.

  3. Crie o configmap em seu cluster.

  4. Verifique se os pods do driver estão implementados e se o status é Running.

  5. Verifique se os csidrivers foram criados.

Depois de implementar o driver do Block Storage for VPC, é possível criar implementações que alavancam o Block Storage for VPC. O conjunto stateful a seguir provisiona dinamicamente volumes do Block Storage for VPC criando PVCs que usam a classe de armazenamento ibmc-vpc-block-5iops-tier.

Removendo o driver do Block Storage for VPC

Se não desejar mais usar o driver do Block Storage for VPC em seu cluster, será possível remover o configmap para remover os pods do driver.

A remoção do driver do Block Storage for VPC de seu cluster não remove os dados em seus volumes de armazenamento. Se desejar remover totalmente os PVs e PVCs, consulte Limpando o armazenamento persistente.

  1. Exclua o configmap ibm-vpc-block-csi-configmap de seu cluster.

  2. Verifique se o configmap foi removido.
