Configuration de Block Storage for VPC pour les clusters non gérés
La documentation ci-après présente les étapes du processus de déploiement du pilote Block Storage for VPC sur des clusters OpenShift Container Platform non gérés dans IBM Cloud. Ce processus n'est pas pris en charge; tout problème lié à ces étapes ou au pilote doit être reproduit dans un cluster Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud pour pouvoir bénéficier d'une assistance.

Vous voulez utiliser Block Storage for VPC dans un cluster IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service ou Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud ? Pour plus d'informations, voir la rubrique Configuration de Block Storage for VPC.
Prérequis
Pour utiliser le pilote Block Storage for VPC, procédez comme suit :
- Créez un cluster Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud sur une infrastructure VPC.
- Spécifiez des libellés sur vos noeuds worker.
- Créez votre secret de stockage.
- Créez un secret d'extraction d'image qui utilise vos données d'identification IAM.
Etiquetage de vos noeuds worker
Avant de pouvoir déployer le pilote Block Storage for VPC, vous devez préparer vos noeuds worker en ajoutant les libellés requis.
Avant de commencer, Connectez-vous à votre compte. Le cas échéant, ciblez le groupe de ressources approprié. Définissez le contexte de votre cluster.

Récupérez les détails suivants relatifs à votre instance VPC. Ces paramètres permettent d'appliquer des libellés à vos noeuds worker.
<instanceID>- ID instance VPC. Pour extraire cette valeur, exécutezibmcloud is ins.<node-name>- Noms des nœuds de travail. Pour extraire cette valeur, exécutezkubectl get nodes.<region-of-instanceID>et<zone-of-instanceID>- Région et zone dans laquelle se trouve votre instance VPC. Pour extraire ces valeurs, exécutezibmcloud is in <instanceID>. Exemple de valeur de région :eu-de. Exemple de valeur de zone :eu-de-1.

Copiez le script shell suivant et sauvegardez-le sur votre machine locale dans un fichier nommé

Spécifiez des libellés sur vos noeuds worker en exécutant le script shell et en indiquant les paramètres que vous avez récupérés précédemment. Répétez cette étape pour chaque noeud worker de votre cluster.

Extraction des détails IAM et VPC
Pour créer le secret Kubernetes qui est utilisé dans la mappe de configuration Block Storage for VPC, vous devez extraire vos détails IAM et VPC.

Extrayez les valeurs de paramètre de configuration ci-après. Ces valeurs permettent de créer le secret Kubernetes requis pour Block Storage for VPC.
<g2_api_key>- Clé de l'API IAM. Vous pouvez utiliser votre clé d'API existante ou vous pouvez créer une clé d'API en exécutant la commandeibmcloud iam api-key-create NAME.<g2_riaas_endpoint>- Nœud final régional VPC de votre cluster VPC au formathttps://<region>.iaas.cloud.ibm.com. Exemple :https://eu-de.iaas.cloud.ibm.com. Pour plus d'informations, voir Noeuds finaux de VPC.<g2_resource_group_id>- Pour extraire cette valeur, exécutez la commandeibmcloud is vpc <vpc-ID>et notez la zoneResource group.

Sauvegardez sur votre machine locale le fichier de configuration TOML ci-après nommé
config.toml. Entrez les valeurs que vous avez récupérées précédemment et codez le fichier TOML en base64. Sauvegardez la sortie base64 à utiliser dans la mappe de configuration du pilote Block Storage.

Création du secret d'extraction d'image dans votre cluster
Créez un secret d'extraction d'image dans votre cluster. Le secret que vous créez est utilisé pour extraire les images du pilote Block Storage for VPC.

Passez en revue et récupérez les valeurs suivantes pour votre secret d'extraction d'image :
<docker-username>- Entrez la chaîne :iamapikey.<docker-password>- Entrez votre clé d'API IAM. Pour plus d'informations sur les clés d'API IAM, voir Description des clés d'API.<docker-email>- Entrez la chaîne :iamapikey.

Exécutez la commande ci-après pour créer le secret d'extraction d'image dans votre cluster. Notez que votre secret doit se nommer

Création du déploiement de pilote Block Storage for VPC
Sélectionnez la mappe de configuration du pilote Block Storage for VPC correspondant au système d'exploitation de vos noeuds worker. Lorsque vous créez le déploiement dans votre cluster, le pilote et les classes de stockage Block Storage for VPC sont installés.

Sauvegardez l'une des configurations YAML ci-après dans un fichier nommé
configmap.yamlsur votre machine locale. Sélectionnez la mappe de configuration en fonction du système d'exploitation de votre cluster. -
Ajoutez les détails de la configuration TOML codée que vous avez créée précédemment à la mappe de configuration dans la section de configuration du secret
slclient.toml. -
Créez la mappe de configuration dans votre cluster.

Vérifiez que les pods du pilote sont déployés et à l'état

Déploiement d'un ensemble avec état qui utilise Block Storage for VPC
Après avoir déployé le pilote Block Storage for VPC, vous pouvez créer des déploiements qui optimisent Block Storage for VPC. L'ensemble avec état ci-après met à disposition des volumes Block Storage for VPC de façon dynamique en créant des
PVC qui utilisent la classe de stockage ibmc-vpc-block-5iops-tier.

Retrait du pilote Block Storage for VPC
Si vous ne souhaitez plus utiliser le pilote Block Storage for VPC dans votre cluster, vous pouvez retirer la mappe de configuration pour retirer les pods du pilote.
Le fait de retirer le pilote Block Storage for VPC de votre cluster n'entraîne pas le retrait des données contenues dans vos volumes de stockage. Pour retirer entièrement vos PV et vos PVC, voir Nettoyage de stockage persistant.
- Supprimez la mappe de configuration
ibm-vpc-block-csi-configmapde votre cluster.oc rm cm ibm-vpc-block-csi-configmap -n kube-system - Vérifiez que la mappe de configuration a été supprimée.
