You can schedule database maintenance jobs and view information about scheduled maintenance windows by using the the web console. The scheduled maintenance of your database includes grooms and genstats.

## Scheduling maintenance jobs with the web console

To schedule a database maintenance job:

1. Log in to the web console.
1. Go to **Administration >> Settings >> Maintenance**.
1. Click **Edit**.
1. Select a time for the maintenance job.
1. Select a day or days for the maintenance job.
1. Click **Save**.
