Viewing and managing alerts
You can view and manage alerts configured in IBM Cloud Monitoring.
Viewing alerts
In the IBM Cloud Monitoring UI, click Alerts and select Alerts. The list of configured alerts is displayed.
Enabling and disabling an alert
To enable or disable an alert, click the State slider. If the alert is disabled it will be enabled. If the alert is enabled, and you want it disabled, click Yes, Disable.
Changing the alert configuration
Click the alert you want to change and then click the pencil icon. After changing the alert configuration, click Save.
Create a copy of an alert
Click the alert you want to change and then click the copy icon. You can create a copy of an existing alert and assign it to a configured team. You can also give the copied alert a meaningful name. After creating a copy of an alert you can change the alert configuration as required.
Silence an alert
You can silence an alert.
Click the alert to be silenced and then click the silence rule icon. Configure the silence criteria and click Save.
Delete a configured alert
Click the alert to be deleted and click the . Click Delete Alert. Click Yes, Delete to delete the alert.
