Getting help and support

If you run into an issue with the Terraform on IBM Cloud provider plug-in or want to ask questions about how to configure IBM Cloud resources, choose one of the following support channels:

For instance

  • GitHub: The Terraform on IBM Cloud provider plug-in is managed as an open source project where you can submit issues for the development team.

  • IBM Support: If you run into an issue with the Terraform on IBM Cloud provider plug-in by using IBM Cloud Schematics, you can also contact IBM Support by Opening a support case.

    If you are working with a third-party product that uses Terraform to deploy images, support is provided by the third-party vendor.

  • StackOverflow: Post your question on Stack Overflow and tag your question with ibm-cloud-infrastructure and terraform.


If you have general questions about Terraform on IBM Cloud or Ansible, you can use one of the following channels:
  • Reddit: Subscribe to the Terraform on IBM Cloud channel on Reddit and browse through this channel to read about user issues and how they resolved them.
  • Open-source community: Get help from the open source community by searching on the internet or by asking questions in forums and on websites that support these tools.
