Exporting DNS zones

Exporting DNS zones

In the DNS interface, you can export primary zones and secondary zones. You can copy the exported data directly to your clipboard, or download the data in a file to your device.

Exporting primary zones

To export primary zones:

  1. From your browser, open the IBM Cloud console and log in to your account.
  2. Click the Menu icon Menu icon and select Infrastructure > Classic Infrastructure.
  3. Select Network > DNS.
  4. In the Primary zones table, locate the primary zone that you want to export, then click Export in the Actions menu Actions menu.
  5. Select Copy to clipboard or Download.

Exporting secondary zones

To export secondary zones:

  1. From your browser, open the IBM Cloud console and log in to your account.
  2. Click the Menu icon Menu icon and select Infrastructure > Classic Infrastructure.
  3. Select Network > DNS.
  4. In the Secondary zones table, locate the secondary zone that you want to export, then click Export in the Actions menu Actions menu.
  5. Select Copy to clipboard or Download.
