Customer-configurable server parameters now available
IBM Cloud® Databases for PostgreSQL Gen 2 now supports 14 customer-configurable PostgreSQL server parameters. You can set parameters at provisioning time and update them on a running instance. The configurable parameters include connection limits, logging thresholds, memory allocation, WAL, and replication settings, and pgAudit classes. For more information, see Changing your PostgreSQL configuration.

Databases for PostgreSQL Gen 2 is now available in Madrid and Sydney
Databases for PostgreSQL Gen 2 is now also available in Madrid (eu-es) and Sydney (au-syd) in addition to Mumbai (in-mum), Chennai (in-che) and Montreal (ca-mon). For more information, see Overview of Gen 1 and Gen 2.
