Gen 2

- Customer-configurable server parameters now available
- IBM Cloud® Databases for PostgreSQL Gen 2 now supports 14 customer-configurable PostgreSQL server parameters. You can set parameters at provisioning time and update them on a running instance. The configurable parameters include connection limits, logging thresholds, memory allocation, WAL, and replication settings, and pgAudit classes. For more information, see Changing your PostgreSQL configuration.

- Databases for PostgreSQL Gen 2 is now available in Madrid and Sydney
- Databases for PostgreSQL Gen 2 is now also available in Madrid (eu-es) and Sydney (au-syd) in addition to Mumbai (in-mum), Chennai (in-che) and Montreal (ca-mon). For more information, see Overview of Gen 1 and Gen 2.
