Cloud services message ID prefixes

List of prefixes that IBM Cloud® services use when they send logs to IBM Cloud Logs:

Message format

A message ID is made up of the following parts:

<crn-service-name>.####<severity>
  • The CRN service-name value.
  • 4 digit numeric code.
  • Severity code I, E, W for the type of message: informational, error, or warning.

VPC infrastructure

The following table lists message ID prefixes for the IBM Cloud® Virtual Private Cloud infrastructure service that send logs to IBM Cloud Logs:
