Gen 2
Cloud Databases are managed databases, and a messaging queue, that are hosted in IBM Cloud and integrated with other IBM Cloud services. Gen 2 Cloud Databases support the same data technologies as Gen 1 instances with a richer feature set, enhanced security and networking, and is more suitable for cloud-native workloads. - Databases for PostgreSQL is a powerful, open source object-relational database that is highly customizable. For more information, see Databases for PostgreSQL.

Provision an instance
Follow the steps for provisioning a Cloud Databases instance of your preferred service. Provision through the catalog, the Resource Controller API, or the Resource Controller CLI.
