Getting help and support

If you have questions or problems when you use the IBM Cloud® Command Line Interface Developer Tools commands, you can chat with the development team on Slack or post questions to Stack Overflow. If you need to, you can open a support case from the Support Center.

Have a casual question or just want to talk about all things CLI? Come chat with the development team on IBM Cloud Dev Tools Slack. After you request your invitation, sign in and join the #ask-your-question channel.

Community help

Search Stack Overflow or IBM Support Forums to see whether other users ran into the same problem. When you use these forums to ask a question, tag your question with ibm-cloud and cli so that it is seen by the IBM Cloud development teams.

Contacting support

First, check the status of the IBM Cloud platform and resources by going to the Status page to see whether there's a known incident.

If your problem isn't listed and you can't resolve the problem with help from the community, you can open a support case. For information about opening a support case or case severities and response times, see Working with support cases or Escalating support cases.
