# Deleting a custom image template

At any time, you can delete a bare metal server custom image template.

When you delete an image template, it can't be retrieved and is permanently removed from all data centers.

Use the following steps to delete an image.

1. From your Devices images list, find the image that you want to delete and click the **Action menu** icon ![Action menu icon](../../icons/action-menu-icon.svg).
2. Click **Delete image**. 
3. In the Delete dialog box, click **Delete**.
4. The image is deleted.
