This service offering is provided by the IBM Cloud specialists at PROFI Engineering Systems AG in Germany.
The offering includes the complete pre-consulting and migration of a local IBM Power LPAR (IBM i, AIX or Linux) from on-prem to PowerVS in the IBM Cloud followed by all futher needed acivities.

The service offering includes the following activities:

  1. Feasibility study for migrating the on-premise environment to the IBM Cloud
  2. Support with the definition of the required services and, if necessary, with the configuration for pricing.
  3. Professional Services for setting up the landing zone (IBM Cloud Account, networking, VPN connection, VPC environment)
  4. Professional Services for setting up the PowerVS environment (PowerVS LPAR)
  5. Support for migration and commissioning
  6. Support in setting up backup solutions.

The minimum order is set at one PowerVS Service Unit. One workday means 8 hours.
