Welcome to the fast, flexible way to build, operate, and grow blockchain solutions.
The new VS Code extension for smart contract and application development is the perfect tool for developers working with the IBM Blockchain Platform. Use this integrated developer environment to write, test, debug, and package smart contracts locally and for IBM Blockchain Platform deployment, as well as to write client applications. Start from scratch or access tutorials and samples to learn blockchain fundamentals.
Deploy only the blockchain components you need, whether it's just a peer, ordering service, or Certificate Authority, and manage them with the redesigned console, no matter where they are deployed.
Connect to nodes running in any cloud environment, whether on-premises, or in public or hybrid clouds.
Pay as you grow, and pay only for what you use with no upfront investment. For more information on pricing, including pricing examples, find detailed information in our documentation here: https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/services/blockchain?topic=blockchain-ibp-saas-pricing
Be sure to create a Kubernetes cluster with IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service in available regions (use version 1.17). You must pay for any fees associated with the IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service and your storage costs.
